USB connectivity includes 20 Gbps USB 3.2x2 ports with 60 W power delivery.
Networking connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E powered by an Intel controller, a 10 GbE interface driven by a Marvell AQtion controller, and a 2.5 GbE interface, from an Intel i225-V controller. Storage options include three M.2 NVMe Gen 4 slots, and six SATA 6 Gbps ports. The ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Extreme is loaded to the brim with connectivity. The board draws power from a combination of 24-pin ATX, and two 8-pin EPS and uses an 18+2 phase CPU VRM that has 90 A power stages. Built in the E-ATX form-factor, the board is based on the AMD X570 chipset (with fanless chipset cooling), comes with out of the box support for Ryzen 5000 "Vermeer" and Ryzen 5000G "Cezanne" processors, besides all other processor generations supported by the X570. This would go down as the first "Extreme" tier ROG Crosshair motherboard ever, as the AMD platform was relegated to "Formula" or "Hero" tiers.

New Egg also allows you to apply for a credit card that'll give you interest free financin for 6 or 12 months, if you spend $200-489.99 (6 months) or $499+ (12 months) givin you lower payments and increasin the amount you can afford at once w/out a lump sum payment.ASUS today launched the Republic of Gamers (ROG) Crosshair VIII Extreme motherboard. So if you have one near you, then you can look into it.
Micro Center will also allow you to bundle a processor w/a compatible motherboard (in case you don't already know) for $30 off the final price. Many benchmarks show the i7-9700k doin as well as the i9-9900k for about $100 less, which you can dump into new RAM it also doesn't run as hot, but the final choice is yours.

It's a small upgrade in FPS, but it all adds up to the overall amount, which's obviously what you're aimin for w/your testing and willingness to purchase a $500 processor. I found a deal on New Egg that's 16gb 3600MHz for less than speeds below it for $80 on-sale. If you're lookin to upgrade and dump some money (like on an i9-9900k), then I'd recommend purchasin 16gb 3200MHz RAM. You can also purchase one of the new boards for Ryzen 3000 (newest processors 7/7) to get the PCIe 4.0, which might be utilized while it's the latest-and-greatest, but we haven't really maxed out PCIe 3.0 slots as of yet to their max potential. They'll generally work better out of the box w/out any tinkerin, whatsoever. The Ryzen 7 3700x is likely goin to be the most sought after chip for gamers that want AMD hardware, but remember that many games favor Intel/NVIDIA, so adjust accordingly. 8 core will likely be the sweet spot as newer games utilize more cores due to them bein available, so older lower core processors will start to feel the pinch as time goes on. I'm not an overclocker, but if you are then you can squeeze more out of them.Ħ cores is pretty much turnin into the bare minimum w/the newer generations that're bein released (like current 4 cores are now), so I wouldn't go lower than that, if you're upgradin/purchasin a new processor. The higher the base/boost clock, the better (generally).

Update the BIOS w/the current, or another old one, chip/processor before insertin the new one. They're backwards compatible w/older boards, if you get the BIOS update prior to insertin the new chip/processor. If you want to purchase somethin right now, then I'd recommend an i5-9400f, since they're around $150, but i7 is usually your best bet, but they're double the price and up for current generation.ĪMD has announced their new chips, which's bein released on 7/7 and pre-orders are comin in on 7/1. The clock speeds aren't great for AMD, especially since gamin benefits quite a bit from it, but they're good for everything else. It's likely, since it's old tech and they're more made for multi-taskin and basic computer use. I will do it now so is my cpu bottlenecks my gpu? If that so can u please recommend me a good cpu i will upgrade it if that so
